Events

Twelve of our 4th class girls travelled to the Phoenix Centre, Carrickmacross on Thursday 26th January 2012 to take part in a Futsal blitz. The blitz was organised by Mr. John McCrudden as part of the F.A.I. Schools' Football Programme.

The girls lost their first game against Scoil Rois, Carrickmacross, beat Glaslough in their second and were narrowly beaten by Lisdoonan in their last game. A most enjoyable day was had by all.

The annual County Schools' Track and Field Event was held at Beech Hill College on Wednesday June 9th 2010. St. Louis finished first in the large schools' section and brought back the Shield! Well done to all our athletes on this marvellous success! The results break down as follows:
2nd Class Sprinters:1st and 2nd. - Caoimhe and Fyne
3rd & 4th Class Sprinters: 1st and 5th -Michaela and Mollie.
5th & 6th Class Sprinters: 1st and 2nd-Ola and Leva.
3rd & 4th Long Distance: 1st and 4th- Iosa and Nicola
5th & 6th Long Distance:1st and 5th- Eimear and Alana.
All our relay teams finished first!
Our athletics team (cross country) got off to a great start in 2010 by finishing in 2nd place at the County Cross Country Competitions which were held at Kilmore, Scotstown on April 15th. Our sports' teams enjoyed a successful year in 2009 in the Large Schools' Sections of the following competitions:Gaelic Football
Our players were Runners-Up in the Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic
Football League, the final of which was held in Clontibret in June.
Soccer
We were Runners-Up in the FAI Schools' Ulster 5-a-side Final held at Gortakeegan Astro-Pitch on May 20th.
