February 2009 was an eventful month here in St. Louis G.N.S. The staff and pupils celebrated their heritage and recalled the arrival of the first Sisters of St. Louis in Monaghan 150 years ago. As part of their local history module, the two 4th classes put on a special assembly, in the form of a play, to mark this historical occasion. Many invited guests were present for the show including former principals and teachers of the school, parents of the children and members of the local community of Sisters.
